We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gary Thomas, who was born on November 21, 1958, in Joplin, Missouri. He peacefully left this world on January 9, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Gary was the beloved son of J.l and Ogretha Thomas and the devoted partner of Sarah Nelson. Together, they raised three wonderful children - Mary Fry (spouse Steven Fry Sr), Carl Nelson, and Michael Goring. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren Steven Jr, (Brooklyn) Marissa, Dakota, Kaiden, Keara and three great grandchildren.

Gary is proceeded in death by his mother and father. Four brothers Francis, J.l Jr, Raymon and Anthony.

Gary owned his own Construction Company and had a passion for traveling with his family and was an avid fan of baseball and football. He enjoyed spending quality time with his loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
