On July 3, 2024, the world lost one of its brightest lights with the passing of Gary Merriweather of Eatonville, Florida. Born on March 26, 1965, Gary was the beloved son of Eugene Hall and Josephine Merriweather.

Gary leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, as well as his two adoring children, Amanda Daniels and Celcia Sloan. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren.

During his time on this earth, Gary studied at Wymore Career Center High School and later went on to work with the varsity football team. He was also actively involved in the "Telling Throwback Family Stories" organization, where he shared his incredible storytelling abilities with others.

When he wasn't working or volunteering, Gary could often be found indulging in his favorite hobby of fishing. He had a knack for reeling in the biggest catch and always had a fish tale or two to share with his loved ones.

Although Gary may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Gary Merriweather. You will be deeply missed.
