Gary H. Warner, 74, of Vandalia, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, in Vandalia.Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at First Baptist Church in Ramsey, with the Rev. Joe Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Ramsey Cemetery in Ramsey. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services on Sunday at the church. He married Shirley Mae Burke on May 11, 1968, in Assumption.He was a retired electrician from Crane Packing in Vandalia, a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95, both of Vandalia.He is survived by his wife; son, Scott Warner and his wife Michelle of Shobonier; daughters, Stephanie and her husband Steve Carruthers of Bingham, Sue Warner of Vandalia and Sandy Warner of Vandalia; grandchildren, Cassandra and Kal Cook, Ashley and Isaiah Miller, Ryan and Whitney Carruthers, Tyler and Seth Carruthers, Trevor Harre and friend Autumn, Haley Warner and friend Kain, Gabrielle Harre, and Cody, Cameron and Caden Warner; great-grandchildren, Kelli, Kora and Karson Cook, and Rebecca, Bethany and Leah Miller; brothers, Louie Warner and his wife Marge, and Haldon Warner and his wife Betty, both of Vandalia; and sisters, Juanita Kirk of Pana and Irene Pope of Vandalia.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Warner.
