I know that as Gary took his last breath on earth, he was taking his first breath in Heaven! It seems that almost every Sunday Gary had 'A new good friend' he wanted me to meet that he had checked out of the prison to come worship in our Church with us. Gary always had the biggest smile. He loved Our Father so very much, and had a great knowledge of Scripture. I pray for strength, and comfort for Cindy, his daughters, and the rest of his family and friends.

Gary was a warm and loving human being who took on the task of helping others with a particular fondness for those in and just out of prison. His big heart was known by all. He will be missed, but I'm sure we'll be welcomed with a strong hug when we see him again in glory!

Gary was a kind and soft spoken man who loved his family more than anything in the world. When he was called to do ministry work it changed his life as well as those around him. He was a living example of how to love. He will be missed.

Gary and I were married for 37 wonderful years, He was a loving, kind , thoughtful husband and father to our girls. He was the man I had asked God for 39 years ago and God delivered, I never heard him utter an unkind word to anyone or about anyone. He was always happy , upbeat and optimistic. He always gave me a big smile and hug when I came home from work . He was my best friend and I am going to miss him so much ~ Cindy Jameson

Gary Jameson a well known man in the community. Passionate about helping men in need, and a volunteer with the same prison ministry group I'm currently involved in. Passionate about helping men coming out of prison find work, healthcare, driver's license/social security card, and shelter. He passed on to be with the Lord on Friday at around 12:45pm. Please pray for his wife Cindy and 3 daughters during this moment of grief. Yes, he will be missed, but I am confident that I and everyone else that knew him in the Lord will see him again. May God comfort and bless the Jameson family at this time. ~ Rick Barrow

I will always remember the way you said AYYY and all your Dad jokes. When I was a kid I would sit on your lap talking and singing, and you would twirl my hair into curls with your fingers. We know there is nothing in the world you loved more then your daughters. I am proud of you and the life that you provided for us. You are someone who makes the world a better place for everyone to live. You are a good man. Dad, you are not dead. The memories we have of you will live within us forever. This is only goodbye in the flesh. I love you, and I know you love me
Your Pumkin,
Karen

When I first met Gary, I was apprehensive. I feared he would some how or some way he would find me unsuitable for his daughter Amanda Jameson. I quickly found as many people that meet Gary for the first time find....he had just found a friend he hadnt met yet. Gary was a man that gave everyone a chance. This was especially true in the latter part of his wonderful life. Gary helped those who most of society had already gave up on in his prison ministry. He found these men jobs, homes, shuttled them to and from life changing opportunities. Most importantly, Gary recognized the good and potential of those who have fallen astray and like a devoted Shepard did not give up when the world shut down. Rather you are religious or not...the truth is Gary was an angel to many and was one of the best parts humanity had to offer.
The world is better because of him. It was an honor to know him. ~ Andrew Jordan
