Gary Lynn ShadrickMarch 28, 1945 - Jan. 10, 2017VisaliaGary Lynn Shadrick, adored husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away January 10, 2017. Gary was born on March 28, 1945 to Lafe and Nellie Shadrick in Visalia, California. Gary grew up the baby of the family with older siblings Eunice Atherton of Visalia and Donny Shadrick who preceded him in death. At the age of 20 he joined the Marines and served 4 years in the reserves. He remained in the Central Valley and in 1966 he became a Cosmetologist, a profession he held for 50 Years. He started Shadrick's Hair Salon in Three Rivers in 1967 and has been a constant in the community up to his passing. For the people of Three Rivers, this will be the end of an era. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Shaunah Shadrick, his children Lindsay Moore and Cooper Shadrick, son-in-law Jim Moore, grandsons Ean and Ben Moore and Leif, Liam, and Logan Shadrick, nephews and niece Richard, Randy, Kyle, and Stacey and numerous great nephews and nieces. In addition to family and work his passion was golf and he developed many lifelong friendships on the golf course. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and clients of many years. Services will be held on Sunday January 22, 2017, 1:30pm at Miller Memorial Chapel in Woodlake, Ca. In lieu of flowers please donate to Sequoia Regional Cancer Center in his memory.
