Schaefer, Gary passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2016 at the age of 71. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose love of family was unsurpassed. Gary is survived by his wife of 44 years, Stormy Schaefer; his daughters, Nicole Bautista (Ben), and Wendy Smith (AJ); his grandchildren, Tony, Joshua, Drew, Brooklyn, Jillian and Parker; brother, William Schaefer (Margaret) and several nieces and nephews.Gary was born on October 11th, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to Harold and Helene Schaefer. He graduated from Canisius College with a degree in accounting and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He married his life love in 1972. He devoted much of his free time to serving the needs of the community through Give Kids the World, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ronald McDonald House and VITAS. A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at the Altamonte Chapel (825 East Altamonte Drive), with a reception to follow. Pastor Susanna Orensky will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gary's life. In lieu of flowers, donations to , Deltona Christian Church and Give Kids the World.
