It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Bryan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Gary was born on February 3, 1951, in DeRuyter, New York, to Kenneth G Bryan and Ruth A Prindle Bryan. He peacefully passed away on August 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was married to his devoted wife, Sharlie R Clark Bryan, in the year 2016. Together, they raised three children: Troy Bryan (spouse Jessica), Sean Bryan (Partner Liz), and Step Daughter Chaylyn Helton (spouse William). He was also a loving grandfather to his two grandchildren Gabriel and Levi, plus his 3 step grandchildren . Surviving are his Brothers Kenneth, and George (Joanne). His Sisters Linda McCrystal, Barb Conrad, and Peggy Murphy (spouse Mark)Gary attended Fabius, NY high school and graduated in 1969. He went on to work as a DOT truck driver for the town of Pompey, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2008. Gary also proudly served in the Army for 7 years.

Despite facing challenges, Gary always maintained a positive outlook on life and was known for his kind heart and sense of humor, and the ability to always have a cold beer for anyone that wanted to sit and talk with him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He battled Glioblastoma stage 4 bravely until the very end. In his memory, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Rest in peace, Gary. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
