Gary William BucsisNewbury Park, CAGary William Bucsis, 80, died peacefully on Saturday January 14, 2017. A resident of Newbury Park, California since 1967, Gary worked for Northrop Corporation until his retirement in 1992.He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Barbara Bucsis, his daughter Jennifer Bucsis-Styduhar and son-in-law Steve Styduhar, his daughter Katharine Graczyk and son-in-law Mike Graczyk, his granddaughter Cambria Graczyk, his brother Richard Bucsis and sister-in-law Mary Ann Bucsis, and his nephews Rick Bucsis, Mitch Bucsis and Frank Baker.Gary was born on August 24th, 1936 in Cody, Wyoming. He was the son of Lavina Taylen Bucsis and Alexander Bucsis of Montana He spent his early years in Billings Montana, but grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. After Las Vegas High School, Gary attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he studied Aeronautical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked for North American Aviation in Inglewood, California for several years. He was accepted to Harvard Business School in 1965, where he earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration. He then returned to California to work for Northrop Corporation in Newbury Park.Gary was a hero to his family and friends who he loved as much as he was loved back. A compassionate and adventurous man, Gary and his family enjoyed many adventures together throughout his lifetime. We miss him today and forever.
