Wilke, Genevieve SelmaGenevieve Wilke, age 91, of Krakow, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Green Bay. Genevieve was born on September 30, 1925, in Cecil to the late William and Ella (Schmidt) Giese. On September 1, 1945 she was united in marriage to Waldemar Wilke in Gillett. Waldemar preceded her in death in November of 1976. Genevieve was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Pulaski. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and camping as well as crafting and the occasional card game. Nothing was more important to her than her family and she loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Genevieve is survived by: two daughters, Connie (Darold) Morris of Shawano and Kay (Wayne) Lardinois of Krakow; four grandchildren, Kelsey (Jacqueline) Lardinois of Krakow, Alyssa (Tim) Lemke of Bonduel, Angela Krueger of Cecil, and Nathan (fiancé Marissa Wiederholt) Morris of Shawano; six great grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Allison, Brianna, Cody, and Wesley; one great great grandson, Dakota; her sister Darlene Giese; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson Rodney Morris, her parents, and her brother Bud Giese.A funeral service honoring Genevieve will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church in Pulaski with Rev. Larry Yaw officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00am until the time of the service.
