Genoveva GermannMANSFIELD: Genoveva Germann, 87, of Mansfield passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at her home. Genoveva was born on September 27, 1929 in Karavukovo, Yugoslavia to Johann and Genoveva (Baumann) Zepf. Genoveva was a dedicated, gentle, loving mother and grandmother who was outgoing and friendly with an abundance of personality. Genoveva enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and was an excellent cook and baker. She married her husband, Adam on May 6, 1946 and immigrated in 1952 from Germany. She was employed in retail as a sales clerk for Reeds and Lazarus-Macy's. She will be greatly missed by her family.She is survived by her children, Gisela (Frank) Eder, Renate (Lane) Edstrom, and Adam (Osi) Germann; six grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Echhorn, Tammi (Nathan) Black, Erika Edstrom, Ryan (Anneliese) Edstrom, Denise (Adam) Loveless, and Jakob Germann; five great grandchildren, Morgan, Rhett, Ava, Allie and Irelyand; and her fiancé, Josepf Stanga. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Adam Germann; a sister, Helena Hiegl; and a granddaughter, Nicole Eder.Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A graveside service officiated by Rev. Father Nelson Beaver will be held at 11:15 a.m. at Mansfield Memorial Park.
