Krippner, Genrose M.Genrose M. Krippner, age 93, a resident of Harmony House, Manitowoc, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Harmony House..She was born on August 28, 1919 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Schuh) Vogel. Genrose was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. She also attended teachers college. On October 18, 1939 she married Walter Krippner at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. Genrose was the oldest daughter of 10 children, helping her mom raise her siblings. She was employed at Manitowoc Tinsel Factory before her marriage. Walter and Genrose operated the home farm in Cato for many years. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1992.Survivors include her two children: Randall (Donna) Krippner, Hilbert, Mary Kirlin, Wausau; five grandsons: Steven and Mark Krippner, Cliff, Clint and Caleb Rusch; three great grandchildren: Dontae, Jade & Layla; her brothers and sisters: Maryann Zipperer, Marcellus (Joanne) Vogel, Conrad (Betty) Vogel, Frank (Marian) Vogel; and a sister-in-law: Lorraine Vogel. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by an infant son: Walter, a sister Cecelia Doleysh; four brothers: Raymond, Marcus, Stanley and Hilary; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and a very close friend: Lorraine Strauss. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Clarks Mills.The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2012. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 6:00 p.m. led by Rev. Richard Klingeisen.
