George Borden, beloved father, grandfather, and Navy veteran, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 68.
He was born on August 14, 1956, to Georgie and Sheila Jackson in Atlanta, Georgia. George is survived by his two children, Quatricia Johnson and Quantiona Jackson, and three grandchildren.
George attended Shaw High School and graduated in 1973 before continuing his studies at Ohio State University. After his education, he proudly served in the US Navy as a Sergeant in the Squad unit for four years.
In his free time, George enjoyed fishing every Sunday, finding solace and joy in the peaceful activity.
George's kind heart, dedication to his family, and service to his country will always be remembered and cherished.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
