Sirtak, 86, of Caseyville, Ill., born on Jan. 31, 1930 in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016.George served in the United States Marine Corp and retired from Gateway Western Railroad, formerly Illinois Central Gulf (ICG) as a billing clerk. He loved feeding the horses at Fairmount Race Track. He was preceded in death by his parents, George J. and Josephine, nee Kacinski Sirtak; and his sister, Dorothy Forhan.Surviving are his children, Donna M. (Ralph) Zurheide of Freeburg, Ill., Lori A. Wise of Collinsville, Ill., and George J. Sirtak of Tempe, Ariz.; grandchildren, Malaina R. Strickland-Hofnagle, Wayne T. Strickland II, Chelsy Rey Craft, Ashley E. Zurheide and Alexis V.
