George Catalfamo, 64, of Hop Bottom, passed away at his home on December 24, 2015. He was predeceased in 2013 by his of over 41 years, Pamela H. (Horner) Catalfamo.He was born on December 24, 1951 in Rochester, N.Y. to the late Joseph A. and Miriam L. (Applegate) Catalfamo. George is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Cindy Catalfamo; daughter, Candace and Sam Ibrahim; seven grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Chris Catalfamo, Chesterfield, N.J., John and Faith Catalfamo, Chesterfield, N.J., Cliff and Teresa Catalfamo, Princeton, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.George enjoyed going to auctions especially involving tractors. He loved to do anything he could with his grandchildren. His favorite thing to do was to sit in his rocking chair and listen to the stream across the street from his home. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been made by the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, PA.
