George "Frankie" Brown was born to the late Cary and Lula Brown on September 23, 1950 in Cumberland County. At an early age he accepted Christ at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. For many years he worked in the Pulp Wood Bushes with his dad and brohers until he became employed at Johnny Asal Lumber Co. where he remained employed until retirement.
He was a man of great pride and dignity. He also loved dancing, trash talking, and simply enjoying life with family and friends.
Frankie was proceded in death by his parents; four brothers (Hobert, James, Roy, Earl); one sister (Delores); a life long partner (Barbara Ann); his late wife Rosa Etta Copeland; a dedicated friend (John "Boo" Edmonds).
He leaves to cherish four children (Lesa-(Stoney), Amy-(Robert), Franklin, and a special devoted daughter Joyce). Six stepchildren (Charlotte, Sandra, Isaac, Bobby, Theresa, Barbara), eight Grandchildren (Devron, Latetra, Alexia, Jayla, Nyah, Nigel, and two dedicated grandchildren Jataria & Shaquinta); two dedicated neices Cynthia "Chelly" and Vernita; and two devoted friends Dennis Sprague & Phillip Atkins.
