George Abasta, 50, of Olathe, Kansas, passed on October 09, 2023. George is leaving behind a trail of cherished memories and a spirit that lit up every room he entered and made a huge impact on so many. Born on June 28, 1973, George brought joy and so much laughter to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
George was born to Father, Robert Abasta and Mother, Teresa Maria Renteria. In 2004 George found his soulmate in Celeste Lamar, and the two embarked on a journey with ups and down but most importantly a journey filled with love and laughter.
An exceptional father, George leaves behind six children who will continue to carry his light in their hearts. Naquia, alongside her spouse Trevon, Jenus, Israel, Triston, Brenee, and Paige were truly George's pride and joy. He embraced the adventure of fatherhood with open arms and shared countless joyful moments with his children.
George also had the privilege of welcoming a blissful addition to his family with the arrival of his grandchild, Aermoni who loved his “Bampa” endlessly. The love and joy that radiated from George when spending time with this little one was truly indescribable.
Throughout his life, George worked diligently as a Contractor, pouring his heart and soul into each project and even made great relationships with each customer. A testimony to his work ethic and dedication is seen in the countless satisfied customers who benefited from his expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Tragically, George's time with us was cut short due to an unfortunate hit and run incident involving a semi while he was walking across the highway after a crash between his car and another. But even in the face of tragedy, George's light continues to shine brightly in our hearts. His infectious laughter, warm smile, and generous spirit will forever be remembered as we honor the extraordinary life he lived.
As we bid farewell to George, let us cherish the memories we shared with him and celebrate his spirit. In his memory, let us embrace life's beauty, love one another unconditionally, and spread joy wherever we go. George would want nothing less.
