George Graeme HyslopGreenvilleGeorge Graeme Hyslop, 79, widower of Jane Clark Hyslop, died on Saturday September 16, 2017. His family was with him and he will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.Graeme was born on February 16, 1938 in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland and was the son of the late George Manson and Margaret Catherine Hyslop. He was preceded in death by his sisters Margaret and Mildred.Graeme enjoyed his work and spent many years working as a Project Controls Engineer in jobs that took him all over the world. He was an avid golfer and a devoted Newcastle United football fan, but his true passion was standing at the kitchen window keeping an eye on the neighborhood. His wife was often heard to say, "Get away from that window and leave those people alone Graeme." Graeme treated everyone he met with kindness and a smile.Surviving is his son Andrew Hyslop (Dayna) and daughter Kathryn Ann Smathers (Ian). He has three beloved grandsons Alexander, Hunter and Keegan.The family will hold a Private Memorial Service at a later date.
