George H. Butler Jr.CIRCLEVILLE: George H. Butler Jr., 82, of Circleville, passed away on October 12, 2017 at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 21, 1934, the son of the late George H. and Bertha (Wolf) Butler Sr. George is survived by his wife, Wanda (Maxson) Butler; son, James Robbin Butler, of Chillicothe; step-children, Tania Barnhart, of Greenfield, Marlon (Brenda) Luckhart, of Hebron, and Krystal Luckhart Jacobs, of Dublin; sisters, Betty Butler and Barb Harris; grandchildren, Jessica and Heath Butler, of St. Louis, Stacy Daniels Espinoza, of Cincinnati, Zane Daniels, of Dublin, Natalie (Josh) Luckhart Miller, Lauren Luckhart, and Whitney Luckhart, all of TN, Derek (Charity) Jacobs, of Dublin, and Devan Kaye Jacobs, of Grove City; and nine great-grandchildren. George was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard "Dick" Butler.George proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard during the
Korean War. He was a life member of the AMVETS. George worked as an auctioneer in Pickaway County for 43 years in his business, Butler Auction Service, as well as owned the 56 Auction Company. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Jeff Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery with military honors.
