George Culp, 73, of Port Charlotte, passed away alongside his loved ones. George was born on January 7, 1950. Mr. Culp was a graduate of Collingswood High School and Lehigh University. He worked as a railroad engineer for Conrail in Pittsburgh and SEPTA in Philadelphia. Mr. Culp volunteered for Guild for the Blind in Washington PA. He enjoyed scuba diving, golf and cross-country skiing. Surviving is his wife, Eileen Davie; a daughter, Jennifer Beebe, three grandchildren, Kyle Duff, Corie Duff and Garrett Beebe; and a precious great-granddaughter, Paisley, a brother Jim Culp and a brother in-law, Gary Shelton and several nieces and nephews. A sister Judy Shelton is deceased. At the request of the deceased, there will be a private memorial service in Port Charlotte Florida on November 22nd for family members, a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
