George Oliphant, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born on August 6, 1953, in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, to his parents Terrence Oliphant and Marie Tillman.
George was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife of nearly 50 years, Louise Oliphant, their son Robert Oliphant, and their three grandchildren. While he will be greatly missed by his loved ones, they are comforted in knowing that he passed away peacefully.
After graduating from Hellertown High School in 1972, George went on to study at Temple University. He later worked at Carpenter Technology, where he made countless friends and contributed to the community.
While we mourn the loss of George, we celebrate the life he lived and the many cherished memories he leaves behind. Rest in peace, George Oliphant.
