George M. Klimek RACINE – George M. Klimek, 90, passed away on December 8, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on January 29, 1925, the son of the late Paul and Katherine (nee: Ochodnickey) Klimek. George was a graduate of Washington Park High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II from 1943 to 1946. George was united in marriage to Beverly M. Ozowski on March 22, 1947 in Racine. He was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. George retired from Twin Disc in 1986. He also had been employed at Massey Harris and Modine Manufacturing. Surviving are his children David (Sharon) Klimek, Nancy Barker, Kurt (Mary Frances) Klimek and Jeffrey (Michele) Klimek, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Betty Klimek and Maxine (Louis) Van Basselaere, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death, by his wife, Beverly on January 30, 2010, brothers, John, Paul, Stephen, Thomas and Danny Klimek; sisters, Anna, Mildred and Katherine. Private services will be held with burial at Graceland Cemetery.
