George Phillip "Flip" Smyth April 13, 1953 - July 16, 2013Flip Smyth passed away on July 16, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers Disease. He was born on April 13, 1953 in White Plains, New York and moved to Redding, CA in 1974 at the age of 21 and resided here until his death.Flip began his career in real estate in 1976 and went on to drive for UPS from 1982 till his retirement in 2006. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and watching his boys participate in sporting activities. Flip was the "favorite uncle" to his niece and nephews thanks to his easy going nature and fun personality.Flip is survived by his wife of 30 years, Terri, sons Chris and Ryan both of Redding, brothers Rob of Redding and Jim of Bejing, China He is predeceased by both parents Fred and Kathryn Smyth and brother Tom Smyth.Please join us on Sunday, July 21, 2013 anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Redding
