George RaharGeorge "Ronald" Rahar, 68, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born on July 5, 1948 in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, Ill. Ronald was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran; served in the Missouri National Guard in Jefferson City, Mo., the Illinois National Guard at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., and as a full time Army Recruiter in Belleville, Ill.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Rahar, nee Elbe; his former wife, Sandra Sheppard; and his parents, George P. and Flora B., nee Henderson Rahar. Surviving are his son, George Raymond (Joyce) Rahar of Fairview Heights, Ill.; and his former wife, Eleanor Rahar of Fairview Heights, Ill. Memorials may be made to the .
