Rosado, George (Doc)U.S. Navy Chief Corpsman George (Doc) Rosado passed away on Saturday April 1, 2017 at home in Belton, MO with his family by his side. George was born on July 31, 1969 in the Bronx, New York. He served in the US Navy from 1986-2013. He served in Desert Storm from 1990-91. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2005. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Rodriguez Rosado. He is survived by his son Alex, his 2nd wife Lawanda Rosado, sisters Ada Gonzalez, Virginia Gonzalez, cousins Jose Davila, Luis Davila, nephews Raymond Melendez, Ephraim Melendez, Francois Rogers, Antony Rivera, Joshua Gonzalez, Giovanni Gonzalez, nieces Tiffany Washington, Celestina Gonzalez, great nephews and nieces. I want to thank our cousin Jose for ALL he did for George in his last 2 months of life. I want to thank my sister-in-law LaWanda for her love and care of George. I want to thank the VA Hospice nurses of Belton, MO for their compassion and care for my brother George. I want to thank the service men and women of the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines and 2nd Battalion 7th Marines. George had a great sense of humor and loved doing pranks. He loved music and loved to dance. You may be gone but you will always be in our hearts and in our minds. There will be a Celebration of Life and a Military Ceremony in the near future.
