We are gathered here today to remember the one and only Gerald Grieff, who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the ripe old age of 77 in Valdosta, Georgia. Born on September 19, 1947, Gerald had a full and colorful life that brought laughter and joy to all who knew him.

Gerald, also known as "Gerry" to his closest friends, was a proud graduate of Germantown High School in 1966. He furthered his education at Penn State University, graduating in 1979 with a degree that he proudly displayed on his office wall.

His career in the US Airforce was nothing short of legendary, serving as a Master Sergeant in the 357 unit for 27 years before retiring in 2005. Despite his serious stature in the military, Gerald had a love for horse racing that brought out his inner child-like excitement.

He met the love of his life, Sunny Grieff, in '57 and together they raised a lively brood of four children: Roger, Daniel, Jason, and Nathaniel. His pride and joy extended to his nine grandchildren, who he never missed an opportunity to spoil rotten.

Gerald will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He may have left this world, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to have known him.
