Gerald P. MarshallPalm Bay, FloridaGerald "Jerry" Marshall passed away on July 28, 2017 at the age of 66. Jerry has battled Alzheimer's disease since 2010. He was born on July 8, 1951 in Malabar and lived in South Brevard his entire life. Jerry was a baseball pitcher for Melbourne High School, Brevard Community College, Space Coast Yankees, and he played for the Minnesota Twins. His baseball contract provided a scholarship for him to attend and graduate from the University of Florida. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Florida Gator Fan. Jerry worked in the construction and automobile sales industries throughout his life. Jerry is survived by his son, Grady John Marshall (Michelle) of Jacksonville, FL, and brother John Marshall (Linda) of Atlanta, GA. He is preceded in death by his father, John Marshall and mother, Melba Marshall.  He will be missed by his many friends and extended family members. Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with a service to follow at 6:00 pm at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to , www.alz.org or the Space Coast Gator Club, www.spacecoastgatorclub.com. Guest registry is at brownliemaxwell.com.
