Gerald (Jerry) SkillmanGerald (Jerry) Skillman, 74, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Dougherty Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. Gerald was born on November 14, 1942 to Roland and Bernice (Jordahl) Skillman. Gerald is a lifetime resident of Sioux Falls, SD. He worked at John Morrell for 31 years and Avera McKennan for 10 years. Jerry was grateful for sharing his life with his wife of 53 years, Linda (Jones) Skillman, his daughter, Lori (Dr. Paul) Bunkers, Grandsons, Luke and Nick Bunkers. His siblings; Sharon (Will) Heinrichs, Monte (Betty) Skillman, Candice (Robert) Peters, Miles (Carol) Skillman; Sister in law, Dianne Skillman, Jeff Skillman, Debbie (David) Barrett.Visitation and funeral services for Jerry will take place at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, September 23.
