Bartelme, Geraldine (Gerry)Geraldine (Gerry) Bartelme, age 87, a Manitowoc resident, died Friday, January 27, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 20, 1929 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Henry Sr. and Georgiana (Schuh) Barbieur. Gerry was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. On July 10, 1948 she married Glenn Bartelme at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Gerry assisted in the family plumbing business and was employed at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was also a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul.Survivors include her husband; Glenn Bartelme Sr., Manitowoc, two sons and daughters-in-law; Glenn Jr. and Paula Bartelme, Platteville, John and Carol Bartelme, Manitowoc, three daughters and sons-in-law; Lynn Seidl-Babcock and Michael Babcock, Manitowoc, Lori and Timm Risse, Random Lake, Lisa and Tony Hurley, Random Lake, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one sister; Sister Mary Barbieur, Oshkosh, three sisters-in-law; Avis Bartelme, Oconomowoc, JoAnne Bartelme, Manitowoc, Marilyn Oestreich, Fond du Lac, three God children; Barbara Torp, Cato, Jim Leannah, Florida and Jeanne Graycarek, Denmark, special friends; Kerri Popp, Manitowoc and Sister Mary Jo Selinsky, Oshkosh. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.She was also preceded in death by; one brother and sister-in-law; Henry (Hank) Jr. and Luella Barbieur, two sisters and brothers-in-law; Georgiana and Clem Reinhart, Betty and Chet Strohfeldt, 15 in-laws and their spouses. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Ave.), Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2017 (TODAY).
