KENDALLVILLE — Geraldine "Jeri" Clugston-Gussman, 65, of Kendallville died Saturday, February 15, 2014, in her residence. She lived in this area most of her life, coming from Michigan. Mrs. Clugston-Gussman worked in sales and real estate. Jeri was a follower of Jesus Christ. She was born on October 17, 1948, in Kentucky to Arthur and Jossie (Bailey) Caudill. On October 3, 1999 in Kendallville she married Harold E. Gussman. He survives in Kendallville. Also surviving are a daughter, Jennifer (Clugston) Helbert and Brett Helbert of Butler; a son, Christopher and Rebecca Clugston of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Logan Helbert, Lena Helbert, Sean Hillier, Shian Hillier, and Skyler Clugston; two brothers, James Caudill of Battle Creek, MI, and Jerry Caudill of Charlotte, MI; and a brother-in-law, Harlow Watson of Kendallville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Maxine Watson. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 20, 2014, at 3 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Rev. Karl Frincke of St. John Lutheran Church, Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 3-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Humane Society of Noble County.
