Geraldine JungmeyerGeraldine Mae Jungmeyer, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away January 22, 2017 at a local nursing facility. Gerry was born on May 10, 1931 in Fort Collins to David and Amelia Weber.Her parents were both descendants of Germans living in Russia, and her dad was a sugar beet farmer. Gerry was raised on the farm where she learned how to drive a tractor before she got her driver's license. She graduated a proud Lambkin from Ft. Collins High School in 1949 (and enjoyed her 50 year reunion). Later that same year she married Wallace E. Jungmeyer and they had three children and moved to New Mexico, Maryland and back to Colorado. They divorced in 1994. She was a homemaker while her children were young, and was also an executive secretary for various technical companies including Sandia Corporation in Albuquerque and CBW Automation in Fort Collins. She served as the office manager/interior decorator for Jungmeyer Homes. As a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she was involved in various church activities throughout her life. Gerry was an avid sports lover of the Rockies, Broncos, Nuggets and CSU Rams. Gardening and interior decorating were her other interests and she loved hosting family and friends.Her family was the most important thing in her life and she was so very proud of each of them.Survivors include her children, Janet & husband C.J. Shibly, Karla & husband Greg Vesey, Tom & wife Linda Jungmeyer; a sister, Betty Wicklund; one brother, Harvey Weber; grandchildren: Sandra Shibly, Sherry Shibly, A.J. Vesey, Shannon Vesey, Christal Vesey, Brad Elliott, Richard Elliott, Shawna Sundsted; great-grandchildren: Stephen Jungmeyer, Sasha Sundsted, Danica Elliott, Jayden Elliott, Brayden Elliott, Michael Elliott, Kyrah Lawson, Manhatten Trull and Gage Trull, and many nieces and nephews.Preceding Gerry in death are her parents; three siblings, Marge Blehm, Dick Weber, and Bob Weber, and two granddaughters, Stephanie Jo Jungmeyer and Stacy Rae Jungmeyer. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E.
