Born in Ethiopia on September 4, 1996, Getamesay's journey brought him to Cambridge, where he became a beacon of hope, known for his boundless love, infectious positivity, and selfless readiness to support anyone in need.

A beloved graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS), his radiant smile and generous spirit made him a treasured member of his community. Getamesay's life, though tragically short, was marked by an extraordinary capacity for kindness and a profound impact on those around him.
