Gilbert Carpenter, 84, of La Luz, New Mexico, passed away on October 8, 2024. Born on August 23, 1940, to Warren and Anna Carpenter. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 55 years, Diane Carpenter, daughter Tracy Candelaria, granddaughter Kinsey Brook Candelaria, and sister Patsy Rucker. He is survived by his daughters: Tawnya Lucero and husband David, Torey Ives and husband Curtis, Brenda Martin and husband Jerry, and Elizabeth Coates and husband Jimmy, brother Ronnie Carpenter and sisters Peggy Raymer and Renee Roth, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
