On January 14th, 2025, the world said goodbye to a beloved member of the Dallas community, Gilberto Ruiz Ortiz. Born on November 11th, 1937, Gilberto lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by those he loved.

Throughout his 87 years, Gilberto touched the lives of many, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. His five children - Rosa, Gilberto, Guadalupe, Raul, and Diana - will always cherish the memories they shared with their father.

As a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren, Gilberto's love and wisdom will never be forgotten. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and unwavering commitment to his family.

Although he may no longer be with us, Gilberto's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
