Garza, GiovanniGiovanni Garza, 25, of Lomira, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017.He was born on March 3, 1991, in Houston, Texas, the son of Javier and Elva Garza. Giovanni moved to Beaver Dam, WI, when he was 10 years old and then to Lomira when he was in 8th grade.Giovanni graduated from Lomira High School where he met his best friends and the love of his life Erin whom he married on October 22, 2016. He went on to complete a technical degree from Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend and was currently enrolled at UW-Fond du Lac studying Electrical Engineering. Giovanni was employed at Marchant Schmidt in Fond du Lac as an Electrical Assembler.Giovanni's life revolved around his wife, family and friends. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Giovanni had many hobbies including, boating, hunting, golfing, volleyball, playing pool, singing, dancing, his dog Apollo, his cat Alonzo and auto repair with his dad. He enjoyed helping people and living life.Those Giovanni leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Erin Garza; his parents, Javier and Elva Garza; three brothers, Javier, Conrado (Heidi) and Cesar Garza; a sister-in-law, Allie Buerger; parents-in-law Shari (Bill Caspary) Buerger and Jeff (Carol Anderson) Buerger; a nephew, Bently Marx and a nephew on the way; a paternal grandmother, Maria De Leon; maternal grandparents, Jesus and Herlinda De La Fuente; paternal grandparents-in-law, Joe and Jean Buerger; maternal grandparents-in-law, Angie and Howie Scheberl, other relatives and many friends. Giovanni was loved by many and his smile will be missed by all who knew him.Giovanni was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Conrado Garza.A Celebration of Life Service for Giovanni will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth St Way, in Fond du Lac. Fr. John Mitchell will officiate and burial will be on Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Lomira.The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Giovanni's arrangements.
