Mrs. Gladys Mae Buckner-James was born on July 21, 1942 in Eatonton Ga to Mrs. Willie Mae Buckner and Mr. John B. Buckner. She was the only girl and middle of three.

Mrs. Gladys confessed her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at formally known Standford A.M.E church. She relocated to Atlanta Georgia were she Married McArthur James. Their union brought forth their only Child Lisa Harrison.

Mrs. Gladys graduation from Butler Baker School system in Eatonton Ga and then became a educator in the Atlanta Georgia public school system.

On Friday, October 4, 2024 the call was made for Mrs. Gladys M. James to come home to her eternal resting place. She is preceded in death by McArthur James(Husband), Mrs. Willie Mae Buckner(Mother), Mr. John B. Buckner(Father), Ernest Buckner(Brother) and J.B Buckner Jr.(Brother).

She leaves her legacy behind to Mrs. Lisa Harrison(Daughter) Donald Harrison (dedicated son-in-law) Locust Grove Two Grandsons Anquarius styles Texas and Davious styles Atlanta. A Great Granddaughter Zarianna Styles. A host of nieces, nephews, cousin and loving friends.
