Gladys Fonville, known to many as the life of the party, has left us to dance in the stars on August 12, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1941, in Norfolk City, Virginia, and spent her life spreading joy and laughter wherever she went.

Gladys was a lover of music, good food, and lively conversation. She never missed an opportunity to crack a joke or break out into a spontaneous song and dance. Her infectious spirit brought light to the lives of all who knew her.

Although she had no children of her own, Gladys was a beloved friend and confidante to many. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
