Gladys Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and preschool teacher, passed away on April 18, 2024, in Cross City, Florida. She was born on August 2, 1964, to Walter G Johnson and Lillie Maye Johnson.
At 23, Gladys married Earl Lee Davis, and they were blessed with two children, Velisha Davis and Luke Davis. She was a devoted and loving mother who always put her family first.
Throughout her life, Gladys worked as a preschool teacher, positively impacting the lives of countless children. She had a passion for education and nurturing young minds. Gladys's dedication to her profession was evident in the bonds she formed with her students and the success they achieved under her guidance.
After many years of hard work and dedication, Gladys retired in 2017 , Leaving a lasting legacy in the field of early childhood education. She was known for her patience, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her students.
Gladys is survived by her loving husband, children, and four grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
