Glen Otis AndersonROSEVILLE: Glen Otis Anderson, 82, of Roseville, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Willow Haven Care Center.He was born on June 27, 1930, in Newton Township, Muskingum County, a son of the late Leo Roy and Elsie Baughman Anderson. He retired from the shipping department for Owens-Brockway. He was a life member of John Tague American Legion #188, GMP Union and New Lexington FFA Alumni. He earned the Outstanding FFA Alumni of Ohio. He served as a 4-H Advisor for 37 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Roseville. He was a past Director of the Perry County Agriculture Society and Chairman of the Rabbits and Poultry. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam Era.Surviving are his wife, Ruth Pletcher Anderson of the home; a son, Howard (Peggy) Anderson of Roseville; a daughter, Glenna (Jerry) Holbrook of New Lexington; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Farrell (Sharon) Anderson of Roseville; two sisters, Ina Mae Komaromy of Blue Rock and Frances (Jim) Guthrie of Philo; two sisters-in-law, Marlene Anderson of McConnelsville and Dorothy Anderson of Brownsville; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Lewis of Crooksville; and cousins, nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ivan Anderson; a daughter, Diane Koska; and three brothers, Alfred, Bernard and Leonard Anderson.Friends and family may call from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Alex Brown officiating.
