Glenda F. GhiottoGlenda F. Ghiotto (Cachora), 60, started her final journey to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, December 3, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 5, 1955 in Fort Yuma, California. Glenda was an enrolled member of the Quechan Indian Tribe, and was employed as a Tribal Gaming Commissioner for Paradise Casino and Quechan Casino Resort. Glenda was a funny, loving, caring and affectionate lady; she was well known for her heartwarming and infectious smile, which will be missed by everyone that knew her. Glenda enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, singing and going for long rides to listen to her gospel music. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandbabies. She loved watching her granddaughter Reecie play softball and was her biggest fan. She was a faithful San Diego Chargers fan and remained hopeful that one day they were going to be Super Bowl Champions. One of her lifelong goals was to serve as a member of council for her tribe, which she accomplished. Three of her proudest moments in her life were being able to watch each of her daughters graduate from high school. Glenda is survived by her husband of 38 years; Henry "Kakie" Ghiotto, Daughters Ramona, Grace and Sylvia Ghiotto, Grandchildren, Henry "Baby Boy" (Nichole) Ghiotto, Jacob Ghiotto and Reece "Baby" Ghiotto, Great Grandchildren; Lilo, Alana and Henry "H5" Ghiotto, Sister; Delcie (David) Cachora, Uncle; Oscar (Rita) Cachora and Aunts; Bernita (Julian) Gunn and Wilma Solis. She was preceded in death by her parents Harland and Ethelyn Cachora, Stepfather Ralph Yuma, Brothers; Dale, Feldon, Delbert and Norvin Cachora and Sisters; Julianna Cachora and Vida Moreno. Honorary Pallbearers are Henry "Kakie" Ghiotto, Henry "Baby Boy" Ghiotto, Jacob Ghiotto, David Waters, Jesse Moreno, Oscar Cachora, Lorey Cachora, Julian Gunn, Henry "Nuchie" Ghiotto, John Ghiotto, Ernie Hurtado, Anthony "Bull" Fernandez, David Moreno, Sammy Miller, Albert DeCorse, Donald, Joe, John, Justin, Eric, Pierce and Jepa Cachora, Chris, Adrian, Tyler, Angel and Zane Ghiotto, Lionel Montague Jr., Lionel "Gump" Montague, and Nicky Hurtado, Robert, Charlie and Anthony Michael Fernandez, Isaac and AJ DeCorse, Felipe "Junior", Anthony and James "JJ" Solis, Pastor Ray Tarlton, Eldon Miguel, Alton Montague and Dwayne Waters. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Yuma Mortuary from 6pm-8pm. A visitation will be held at Yuma Mortuary from 4pm-5pm; with services following at 5pm. Burial will take place at Fort Yuma Quechan Cemetery on Monday, December 14th at 5:30 pm.
