Glenda HilkenCliveGlenda Irene Hilken of Clive, IA, passed away on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at the age of 73 from cancer. Glenda was born on February 8th, 1944 to Glen and Bernice (Vehrs) Grage in Kentfield, CA. Glenda was an active member of her church, enjoyed her quilting group, traveling the country, and spending time with her family and friends. Glenda is survived by her husband, Raymond; sons, Dennis, Robert (Rob), and Dale; Five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 6th, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home at 8201 Hickman Rd in Urbandale. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday July 7th at Mount Olive Lutheran Church at 5625 Franklin Ave in Des Moines with visitation starting at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Olive Lutheran Church and School.
