Glenn Argus PenningtonApril 8, 1949 - July 8, 2017VisaliaGlenn Argus Pennington was peacefully called home on July 8, 2017 in Visalia CA at the age of 68 after his courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his Wife and loving family.Glenn is survived by his Wife Mary Pennington, son Jared Pennington & Wife, daughter Kiersten Adams & Husband and Beau Pennington. Step Children, Eddie Garcia & Wife, Michelle Pinherio & Husband, Debbie Davis and 10 grandchildren. Sister Karen Pearson & Husband, Brother Lewis Sargent & Wife. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Eugene & Gwendolyn Pennington and Brother Dale Sargent.Glenn aka Nubbin was born on April 8th, 1949 in Stinnett, Texas his hometown that he loved, cherished and enjoyed traveling back to visit family and great friends. He then resided in Visalia CA where he graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1967 and was employed by Kaweah Construction Co. until his retirement.Papa Glenn, as his grandchildren would call him, had many hobbies and passions, restoring or rebuilding anything old and giving it new life, collecting antiques, camping, traveling, his dogs and the list goes on and on. He always had a joke or story to tell and was eager to show you projects he was pridefully working on or any new gadgets he had. Glenn will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who were blessed to have known him.
