Kreger, GlennGlenn B. Kreger, 78, Hatley, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his home under the care of his family and Ministry Hospice. He was born on August 17, 1938 in Antigo, the son of the late Boyd and Lillian (Langner - Meyer) Kreger.Glenn was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1958 - 1963 as a SGT. On October 6, 1961, Glenn was united in marriage to Constance 'Connie' Nowinsky in Wausau. She preceded him in death on February 2, 1996. Glenn was president of J. Wenning Grinding and Supply Inc. and previously worked in the circulation department at the Wausau Daily Herald, owned and operated a bakery in Wausau and was sales representative for American Custom Metals. He was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. Glenn was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed hunting and fishing but especially enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends.Survivors include his significant other, Irene Nowak, Wausau; two sons, Edward (special friend, Nancy Reed) Kreger, Lancaster, PA, David (Tami) Kreger, Hatley; six grandchildren, Alexandra Ann (fiancée - Jeremiah Albrecht) Kreger, Wausau, Kirsten Helen Kreger, Hatley, Hunter David Charles Kreger, Hinesville, GA, Brook Marie Kreger, Wausau, Autumn Anne Kreger, Ringle and Tristin Audrix Kreger, Schofield; two great-grandchildren, Madaline Kristine and Xarina Ann Kreger-Albrecht, Wausau and one sister, Mary (Gary) Piller, Antigo. In addition to his wife and parents, Glenn was preceded in death by one son, Mitchell A. Kreger; one sister Beverly (Gary) Wire; one brother, Earl (Elsie) Meyer and one great-grandson, Angel Lee Kreger-Albrecht.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at St. Florian's Catholic Church, Hatley. Fr. Greg Bohren will officiate. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery with military rites conducted by The American Legion. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service all at the church.
