Glenn Steven LundbergApex, NCGlenn Steven Lundberg, 65, died on October 4, 2017, at his home in Apex, North Carolina unexpectedly from natural causes. Glenn Lundberg was born on December 16, 1951, in Pasadena, California to Lars & Patricia Lundberg. Glenn served during the Vietnam War as a member of the US Army Rangers assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division, and was awarded the Bronze Star for his heroic service. Glenn graduated from Pierce College earning a degree in Computer Science before starting his career in IT. He worked for Hewlett-Packard for over 22 years, and retired from his most recent position at CFS Tax Services last year. Glenn has always been handy around the house, and was the go to person whenever anything needed to be fixed. Glenn was a proud father of three, Marisa, Steven (Miranda) & Eric. He was also a caring father figure to Jessica, Courtney & Brittany. In June 2016, Glenn moved from California to North Carolina with his eldest son to enjoy retirement by pursuing his favorite hobbies like fishing, hunting, & spending time with his two granddaughters, Alyssa & Ava. "He was a loving father & grandfather who always did his best to be there & spend time with his family."He is survived by his step-mother, Joyce; his step-brother Craig, his children, Marisa, Steven & Eric; his granddaughters, Alyssa & Ava. His memorial service will be held this Monday, October 16th at the Reardon Funeral Home located at 2636 Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley, California. The family will gather at 3:00 pm, and the memorial service will start at 4:00 pm. Memorial donation may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America.
