Mrs. Glenna Jeanne Endal, of Crofton, MD, passed away on October 23, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Glenna was born on November 3, 1950 in Vanceburg, KY to Virgie Stansell and Glenn Mackey who preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church. She worked as secretary at the church and started the group Golden Gang for the elderly members of the congregation. They enjoyed fellowship, bus trips and the act of being young again. She was married to Andy Endal for 43 years, who she met at the University of Florida. In 1968, Glenna was the first woman to finish the 5-mile Jacksonville Summer Beach Run, an accomplishment that she repeated in 2003. Glenna is survived by a daughter, Lena (Jason) Mullen, two sons Erik (Beth) Endal and Roy Endal; grandchildren Thomas and Brayden Endal, Ella and Emmy Endal, and Delilah Mullen: loving sister and best friend Ellen (Claude) Krejci, loving brother Tom (Jeanie) Mackey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many circles of loving, caring friends. Glenna was a wonderful friend who brought love, caring and happiness with many smiles. Her friends meant the world to her. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church, 855 Chestnut Tree Drive, Annapolis, MD 21409 on November 18, 2016 at 11:00am.
