We are saddened to announce the passing of Gloria Ulibarri Rodriguez on May 31, 2024, in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born on December 2, 1949, to Jose Valentine Ulibarri and Maria Isabelle Madrid.

Gloria, a beloved matriarch, leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her cherished children, Mida Ann Nunez (Roy Nunez), Maria Ulibarri, Manuel Ulibarri, Maria Isabelle Garcia (Joe Garcia), and the Borunda Brothers, all of whom she held dear. Her role as a dedicated and adoring grandmother extended to her 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Gloria was also a sister to four brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her Daughter Josefina Ulibarri, Bothers Tony, Benny and Harold Ulibarri, Grandson Fransico Ulibarri, Granddaughter Nichole Martinez, and Grand Daughter Christina Ulibarri.

Gloria was known for her Catholic faith, love, and big Heart. Gloria loved watching her Spanish novels, knitting, always making someone a blanket, cooking, and dancing. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother & great-grandmother (Grandma G). The mean, scary Grandma G is what all the kids knew her by, but she loved them all very much. She was always there when we needed her, offering anything she could give. Gloria always puts her family before herself. She loved everyone getting together, having cookouts, and talking about the good old times on Washington Ave St.

She brought joy and laughter to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before her.
