Gloria J. "Jeanne" Bacewicz1949 - 2015Gloria J. "Jeanne" Bacewicz, 66, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Hospitality Nursing and Rehab.She was born on July 27, 1949, to the late Calvin and Ida Marie (Ball) Martin in Stambough, Mich. She was educated in Kenosha and at Mary D. Bradford High School.Jeanne married Francis J. Bacewicz Jr. on Dec. 28, 1967, in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1997.Jeanne was a very talented woman who loved interior design. She enjoyed crocheting, watching old movies and collecting Victorian dolls. Jeanne always made the holidays special. She also enjoyed baking Christmas cookies.Jeanne is survived by her children, Rachel (Charles) Fonder, Christopher Bacewicz and Nicole (Jeremy) Kriedeman; her siblings, Judith Woodall of New York, Joy Kastman of Sheboygan, James M. Martin of Tipler, Wis., Joanne (Bruce) Erickson of Washington, Greg (Arlene) Martin of Kenosha, and Joe (Sherry) Martin of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Kayla Bacewicz, William Schroeder, Nicholas Schroeder and Violet Kriedeman; and her two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Linda Martin of Kenosha; her goddaughter Danielle Martin of Austin, Texas and her niece Katie (Fritz) Holmes.She is preceded in death by her two sisters, Janet Margaret and Patricia Marie in infancy, and a brother Calvin Martin Jr.A Celebration of Life for Jeanne will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
