Gloria Jean (Etchison) Bailey, 76Alexandria - Gloria Jean (Etchison) Bailey, 76, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital following an extended illness.She was born on April 21, 1941, to Dwight and Rilda (Redman) Etchison in Alexandria.She graduated from Alexandria High School-Class of 1959.Gloria had worked at Midwest Towels in Muncie for 10 years, then Anderson Health Care for 10 years and most recently at Muncie Wal-Mart.She was a member of both the Muncie and Alexandria Eagles Lodges. Gloria enjoyed playing bingo, working puzzle books and bowling.Survivors: 2 Sons-John Cox Jr. and Dwight Cox, Daughter-Cathy Harris, Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 3 Brothers-Raymond Etchison, Larry (Linda) Etchison and Mark (Patty) Etchison,Sisters-Sandy (Carl) Hildreth, Karen (Dannis) Hollingsworth, Marilyn Wade, Several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband-TJ Bailey, her parents, 3 siblings-Patricia Murdock, Gilbert Etchison and Mary Catherine Etchison.Services honoring Gloria's life and legacy will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, in the Noffze Funeral Home in Alexandria. Rev. John Foster will officiate. Interment will follow in the K of P-IOOF Cemetery in Frankton. Friends may call at the Noffze Funeral Home after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the services.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alexandria Eagles Lodge #1771 through the funeral home.
