Madril, Gloria Gloria Armenta Madril, a cherished wife, mother, nana, sister and friend, entered into eternal joy on November 3, 2016. She was born on June 2, 1932 in Mesa, Arizona, the third daughter of Calletano Armenta and Leonila Acosta Armenta. A lifelong resident of Mesa, she graduated from Mesa High School in 1951 and briefly attended Arizona State College. She married Mike V Madril on December 17, 1955 and together they built a home and raised five children: Michael, Steven, Kathleen, Ricardo, and Theresa. In 1966, she began employment at the newly opened Motorola plant where she worked proudly until her retirement thirty years later. She was a devout Roman Catholic and a parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, volunteering in multiple capacities including ministry to the homebound. She had a determined spirit and was a beacon of strength among her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, children, twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her sister Angie Vincent. A visitation will be Wed., November 9, 2016 From 5 - 8 pm at Melchers Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ, with a Rosary at 7 pm. Mass will be Thurs., November 10, 2016 at 11 am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 30 W. 1st St., Mesa AZ, with burial to follow at 12:30 pm at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
