Gloria Saundra BoruffKnoxville, TNGloria Saundra Helms Boruff, age 84 of Knoxville, went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Park West Hospital. Saundra was born on July 18, 1933. She was a long-time member of Rocky Dale Primitive Baptist Church and retired from Standard Knitting Mills and Levis. Preceded in death by her parents, John A. Helms and Esta M. Foust Helms, husband of 57 years James E. Boruff, son Ronnie Edward Boruff, brother Kenneth Tys Helms, sister Savanna Helms Reed. Survived by son Steve James Boruff, daughter-in-law Lisa Boruff, sister Shirley Jean Hurst, 3 grandchildren Robbie, Christopher, and Christy, several great-grandchildren and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday August 20, 2017 from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow. Pastor Clyde Abbott officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday August 21, 2017 at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 10:45a.m. for an 11:00a.m. interment, Dr. Charles Earl officiating.
