Gloria Y. Vega, received her ANGEL WINGS on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Yuma, AZ. She was born on August 24, 1941 in Tulare, CA. She graduated from Yuma High School- Class of '59. She loved to cook for family & friends, she enjoyed doing things with her computer, she enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. She worked as a Gaming Agent for the Cocopah Casino, she had also worked at the Quechan Casino & Resort and also at Paradise Casino. She was a loving Sister/ In Law, Niece, Aunt, Nina & Friend. Gloria is survived by her sister, Alicia V. Gill (Eugene); brothers, David Y. Vega (Anita) & Paz Y. Vega, Jr. (Lou Jean); Aunt, Virginia DeMara. She is preceded in death by her mother, Angelita Vega (1989) and father, Paz E. Vega (2002). Gloria loved ALL of her Nieces and Nephews and EXTENED Family that she loved as her own: Linda Gill Maya (Lorenzo, Jr.) - Diana, Ruben Jr., Maya, Rae Anna, Ruben III Ayala, Lorinda Maya, Alaina & Diego Mercado, Lorenzo III & Joaquin Maya, Rosenda Gill Pico - Alicia, Layla, George & Gabriel Pico, David V. Gill (Marina) - Dolores, Natalie, Louis Gill, Geri V. Gill- Xyntrice Gill, Daniel "Duey" Sestiaga, Ralph Ahuero - Sadie, Sabrina Nevitt - Angelica, David, Brianna, Paz Vega III- Zakkary, Viktoria, Kathryn, Mikaela Vega, Stephan Vega (Debbie) - Allison, Kyle Vega, Hilda & Jose "Pancho" Flores, Mackie & Lenor Gill- Goonie, Ramon &Albert Gill, and Austin Pacholke. Funeraria del Angel is handling private cremation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, burial to follow at Desert Lawn.
